Ron and I run a cattle feedlot (about 490 head) that we custom feed. In the summer, we raise up to 250-300 broiler chickens that are butchered and sell to people in the area. Along with that, we also have feeder pigs, a few calves and a small registered flock of Olde English Babydoll sheep.
We also have a great family that includes eight kids. For Ron and I, our most cherished time together is relaxing on the porch swing after the kids go to bed. We just watch what goes on at the farm, discuss the day and relax.
